Boycott CBS and all it’s programming until Letterman is removed from the air
David Letterman’s only draw anymore is the extreme left fringe in the New York market. He ceased to be funny a long, long time ago. Recently, he proved how unfunny he is by attacking Sarah Palin and her 14 year old daughter in his top ten list. He went way beyond decency and good taste. I happened to catch the list when I was channel surfing and immediately asked myself, “Where’s the humor?”
The more I thought about it, the more disgusted I became. This morning, I sent an open email to our local CBS affiliate, KELO-TV that in essence let them know that I would not be gracing their station until Letterman is completely off the air. I reminded them that most of the shows that my wife and I like to watch will not be watched nor tuned to until Letterman has been fired; such as the local news, NCIS, Crimnal Minds, The Unit, 48 Hours, The Mentalist and several others.
Anyone who even remotely encourages the rape of a 14 year old (statutory or otherwise), calls a former candidate for VP of the U.S. a slut and then refuses to publically apolgize for his disgusting remarks has no place entertaining the general public. I don’t care what that persons political affiliation is you should never call a candidate, current or former, of being a slut. I wonder what the backlash would be if he called Hillary Clinton or Geraldine Ferraro that word? As a governor, Sarah Palin earned the right to be selected as her party’s nominee for VP. Letterman subsequently, has lost the right to be called a comedian; he crossed the line – big time!
I am in agreement I am boycotting CBS. Letterman’s behavior is inappropriate and this kind of behavior needs to end.
I am in agreement that CBS should be boycotted until they cancel the David Letterman show based on his behavior making sexual jokes about children of any age.
What if this was said about Letterman’s family member? He is an absolute disgrace! Why can he not leave Sarah Palin alone? The children should be off limits.Don’t you think he has enough jokes for the rest of his life with Pelosi and this fiasco of a President and Vice.OOOHHH, that’s right~he must be a lefty!

I am boycotting this network. His actions are horrible and cannot be accepted. It seems we are the minority. The interesting thing is, this issue is getting louder by the day.
If Doofus Letterman said that about Obama’s children CBS and the Liberal News Media would be all over him. It is a disgrace that Letterman (who had his own son out of wedlock) would have the nerve to try and disparage Sarah Palin’s daughter. CBS has become a 2nd rate “Enquirer” news station and the only way to handle this is to not watch Letterman or CBS.. A genuine apology should be forthcoming from CBS and Letterman to the Palin’s and to those of us who condem this type of rhetoric.
Google and write a short note to CEO/CBS and FCC. Let them know that you see his behavior as obscene and indecent. Also, tell CBS that you and all of your family will boycott them until they announce a policy that punishes and stops these absurdities. If you’re real ambitious, google Letterman’s sponsors and let them know, too.

Some of Letterman’s guests have included Pres Elect Obama, Robert “Joe” Halderman who tried to blackmail Letterman for cheating on his wife and now Letterman has Rod Blagojevich on his show….. That is a lot of “putting the head corruptionists on TV to down size (in Most Americans Eyes) their negativaty towards the Constitution”. I say we boycott the man. If he can cheat on his wife, he can lie to us as easily. Facts are These people interacted with him on his show or in real life. His latenight antics are not funny anymore. You can’t help it when you look at him but think of the shame and discrace he has caused towards his family, but yet CBS and most americans still flock to his nightly show as if He is not held acountable for his actions. Well, he will be atleast one time in his life when he is standing infront of god and has to answer for everything he has done. The Democrats can’t help you then Dave……. I hope you get right soon.
